- Through the law
- Through our good works

3. Through faith in Jesus Christ?

Romans 4:4-5 NKJV
Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. [5] But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,
- What faith should we have in Christ Jesus?
We should believe that, Jesus died on the cross, buried and rose again for our sins

Keep faith that Jesus paid the price for our sins and bought us

1 Peter 1:18-19 GNT
For you know what was paid to set you free from the worthless manner of life handed down by your ancestors. It was not something that can be destroyed, such as silver or gold; [19] it was the costly sacrifice of Christ, who was like a lamb without defect or flaw.
Revelation 5:9 TPT
And they were all singing this new song of praise to the Lamb: “Because you were slaughtered for us, you are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals. Your blood was the price paid to redeem us. You purchased us to bring us to God out of every tribe, language, people group, and nation.
- To receive eternal life we need to have genuine faith in Christ Jesus

- Solve arguments over faith
Paul’s statement about faith:
Romans 1:17 NKJV
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
Galatians 2:16 NKJV
knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
James’ statement about faith:
James 2:20 NKJV
But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
Commentary about James’ statement:
Faith is the Spirit of life (eternal life) to our glorious body and glorious body is the reward of our good works (read our basic evangelism). So our glorious body will be perfect by “faith and works”. So the statement of James is also acceptable because without works our glorious body is not perfect, but Jesus has made us perfect on the cross.
Hebrews 10:14 NKJV
For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Conclusion:
- Practice (of good works) is required
- Perfection is not required
Be A Partner To Harvest In The Kingdom Of God
We are working hard to reach the unreached in the remote areas of Pakistan with the life-transforming message of Jesus Christ. Many communities in these distant regions have little or no access to the Gospel, and our mission is to bring the light of God’s Word where it has never been heard before.
